Live View
To do any viewing, we recommend connecting a PC fitted with a fast graphics card to the NVR server. Our NVR Server supports viewing of one single camera, a group of pre-selected cameras, or as many as 64 cameras on the screen. Obviously we will get the full screen for the single camera view and we can see a lot of details. At the other extreme, each camera view has a size of a thumb and it does not have details. Please see a sample of live view here .
There are 2 features to improve our experience of live views. They are E-map and Zooming.
E-map
The map would give you a better idea of the physical camera layout. It is a map with camera positions placed on it so you know the real location of each camera. Maps can be linked (such as clicking on a building to go to an internal layout diagram of the building with camera placements). A map can be configured for each camera group and a live video feed from each camera is displayed to the side of the map. See the example here.
PTZ control (Camera Dependant)
You control the Pan/Tilt/Zoom functions of a camera if the camera is capable of doing so and if it is correctly set up by CNZ. PTZ functions are controlled by the following panel, which is at the bottom left of the screen for Live View.
